heal the world

make the world a better place--ah the song that reminds u of artists for world and the lyrics echo pain of mankind. What is meant here is-- fellow human beings rise to your consciousness and stop hurting others , evolve forwards not backwards (as a friend of mine is wont to say). Art in healing is what we talk at Hansadhwani, to some we may seem a bit off on the top coz the vision that we see in our mind's eye is expansion of God's own genesis principle. Brahma was alone and he created universe for his own company (i hope it wasn't amusement) and to each he gave his own. What can heal more than the arts for it is God's own idea of bliss-- music and dance, stories and drama delighted gods in Vishnulok. Now we have hurt ourselves and others so much that mere words can not heal. Let us heal our own self and that of others; nurture the world thru arts. make the world a more just, healthy, bountiful, plentiful, oxygenful(lol),toxinless, painless, place--better indeed.

About Saraswati

I have read this excellent article about goddess Saraswati and I must put the link here- http://www.koausa.org/Gods/God10.html
It explains most of the symbols associated with the goddess and the appropriateness of choosing her as our patron deity naturally.

our meeting in July

It has taken me a long time to work this blog out, because I had completely forgotten about its existence. But now that I have found it, I will continue recording things more faithfully here itself.

Just to make a note that we had a little meeting when we sat and discussed issues pertaining to our fund-raising strategy. Not that we could seriously come out with something, but at least we all made the effort to sit together. I thought on hindsight that if this is the manner in which things will go one would never get anything done seriously enough. But here is a view of all of us there.
